TENENTS

P.U.R.E. Ministries is a divinely ordained and uniquely led fellowship.  All of its fellowship churches and outreach ministries are asked to comply with its high standards.  The ministry is founded on four functional tenets:

     Apostolic and Prophetic Impartation

     Biblical Instruction

     Ministerial Integrity

     Restoration

These tenets are absolute and are scripturally sound, according to the following passages.

Apostolic and Prophetic Impartation  -  Ephesians 2:20; Ephesians 4:11-13;

II Chronicles 20:20; Amos 3:7

And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone;

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:  Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord our God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

Biblical Instruction  -  II Timothy 2:15; II Timothy 3:16-17

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Ministerial Integrity  -  Psalms 51:6; Proverbs 20:7; II Corinthians 4:1-2;

II Corinthians 6:3

Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts:  and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.

The just man walketh in his integrity:  his children are blessed after him.

Therefore seeing we have this ministry as we have received mercy, we faint not; But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:

Restoration  -  Galatians 6:1

Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

Strict adherence to these tenets is expected and required.
